Study abroad: Logo 30 years Erasmus

Erasmus is the success story of the European Union: The program was developed to facilitate the exchange of students of all subjects. It celebrates the 30th birthday in 2017.

CharitéUniversitätsmedizin Berlin has built a wide network of 72 partner universities in almost every European country. About 150 places are available for medical students to spend one or two semesters abroad.

The website of the Erasmus office introduces to the countries and universities, in which a study period abroad is possible. You can find the requirements for application and learn about recognition of the workload. Some placements are available for Charité students to complete parts of the "Praktisches Jahr" abroad. The Humboldt-Universität and Freie Universität offer financial support for such training periods if self-organized.

Medical students from partner universities are welcome to complete a period of study at the
CharitéUniversitätsmedizin Berlin. This website shows you how to apply at the Charité after being nominated by the home university.

The Erasmus coordinators of your home university and of the Charité will support you in your study abroad semester.
